The kitchen has a 3 point high power gas hob and microwave. There is all usual self-catering requirements such as toaster, cutlery, pans, coffee maker, juicer & crockery, included.

- complimentary welcome pack provided with tea, coffee, milk, water & beer
- loo roll & hand soap, wash up liquid, bin bags & laundry detergent are provided for your convenience
- the large terrace and communal areas are shared with family & max 2 guests in garden yurt if also booked during your stay.
Please note our very friendly elderly dog Pippin wanders around the communal areas.

Check-in is from 3pm
Check-out is at 10am
However, we do our best to accommodate early arrivals/later departures within covid cleaning protocols between guests.
We generally meet our guests in person on arrival, observing current covid distancing practices as applicable. The entrance gate is left open in time for your arrival. We can show you around the property and make suggestions to enjoy the tourist sites of Lanzarote and also find more off the beaten track gems
Documentation of passports and covid tests certs when required are sent via email or WhatsApp
We are always available either onsite or via telephone for any queries
COVID compliance
The property is left for a minimum 2 hours between guests with ventilation, followed by cleaning & then disinfection of all areas, adhering to COVID protocols as advised.
Alcohol spray is left in the kitchen area for guests use.
Due to the changing nature of rules and regulations, we advise all guests of current restrictions in place in Lanzarote at the moment of arrival.

House Rules
- Garden apartment is suitable for two adult guests as maximum occupancy.
- Smoking or candles are not allowed within the apartment, but permitted on the terrace or gardens.
- Rubbish to be taken out daily and recycling bins used for glass, plastic/cans and paper.
- No wipes or similar put down the toilet into drainage system.
- Please don’t waste water.
Cancellation Policy
40% non-refundable deposit required to reserve a date.
Balance can be paid on arrival or if paid before arrival, balance payment can be transferred to another date within six-month period.
All guests should take out adequate holiday insurance for the duration of their stay.

Location & Nearby Attractions
You don’t have to travel far to enjoy a memorable holiday at The Garden Apartment, Tahiche. There is lots to do and see close by.
Culture
Lanzarote is known for its year-round warm weather, beaches and volcanic landscape. Timanfaya National Park’s rocky landscape was created by volcanic eruptions in the 1730s. Cueva de los Verdes has caverns formed by an underground river of lava. The design of low-rise whitewashed villas throughout the island is due to local artist & architect, Cesar Manrique, who has a foundation here in Tahiche. We highly recommend a visit, and it is a short 5-10min walk from the apartment. Cesar Manrique also designed many of the tourist sites, such as cactus garden, viewpoint to La Graciosa and Jameos del Agua.

Beaches
Costa Teguise is only a five-minute drive away and boasts a beautiful promenade around all of its beaches. Particularly of note is Playa Jablillo for snorkelling and Playa las Cucharas for windsurf and stand-up paddle
The eastern coast of Lanzarote has stunning beaches from white sand to sea pools and is lovely to explore.
Famara with its laid-back surf town and stunning 5km beach walk under towering cliffs is a recommended day out.

Bakery Levain in Tahiche, fantastic bakery with café. Open Weds-Sun 7.30-14.00
Charco San Gines in Arrecife for evening walk and tapas route, lots of bars and cafes
Chiringuito, Arrieta beach bar, great location for top value tapas with stunning sea view
Casa Tomas, Las Caletas, very típico Lanzarote restaurant
Mi Piace, Burger bar in Costa Teguise
La Esquina, plant based café in Teguise
Shopping
Eurospar is easily accessed from the Garden Apartment and has fresh meat, & fish counters plus a good vegetable & fruit area, plus sushi on site. Nearby we also have supermarkets, Lidl & Mercadona.
Funde grube quality gift shops are found in nearby Costa Teguise.
Teguise town has lots of quirky artisan shops plus Sunday market.

El apartamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos. Tiene total privacidad a pesar de estar en finca común con la casa. Tracy y Derek (y Pippin) son muy amables y te hacen sentir como en casa. Nos dejaron incluso un aperitivo de bienvenida. ¡Limpieza y ubicación de diez! Totalmente recomendable para pasar unos buenos días en la isla.

Very nice studio apartment, quiet and independent. There is a private outdoor space to enjoy (a personal barbecue for example), and one has otherwise full access to the shared areas, including the swimming pool. Ideally located, 25-30 min max from the various points of interest in Lanzarote, easy access, easy parking also. And last but not least, two very charming and friendly hosts (Small welcome gifts were waiting for us and delighted us). Hardly could it be better. We recommend without hesitation. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Beau logement, très propre, jardin exceptionnel, piscine chauffée très agréable en début et fin de journée. Bien localisé pour visiter les points d’intérêt du nord de l’île.
